Incienso (incienso de iglesia)

Resins to which essential oils are added to produce a fragrant smoke. Has traditionally been used in purification rituals. The smoke symbolizes the prayers of the faithful drifting up to heaven in many religious and spiritual ceremonies, such as in Judaism and the Catholic Church. Incense has anti-bacterial properties to cleanse a sick person’s room. Use externally is an anti-septic. Burn it with a small charcoal.
